Open Year Round
We know your favorite time to visit us is during the summer months.
Come try us during the other seasons and find out what you've been missing!
Did you know that this part of Texas is believed by many to have the
most ideal climate in the nation? Elevations ranging from 1,500 to 2,400
feet, low humidity and predominantly clear, sunny days, encourage outdoor
activities all year long.
Spring comes alive with new growth. Trees and grass are resplendent
in nature's colors. Hills are blanketed with wildflowers. Newborn deer,
rabbits, squirrels, birds, butterflies and other wildlife are everywhere.
(Garner State Park has nightly dances when schools are out for Spring Break.)
Summer brings long, leisurely, sunny days with exceptionally low humidity
combined with clear, cool nights. This time of year is delightful for outdoor
fun and adventure.
When Fall arrives, the weather becomes crisp but mild, with sparkling,
blue skies. This is a perfect time to take a scenic drive to enjoy the colorful
changing of the leaves or spend the day hiking the hills and traversing
along the river.
The Winter season is short in the Texas Hill Country. Plan around our
famous "blue-northers" and enjoy the abundant warm days. A last
minute weekend may be just the thing for a family or couple to unwind during
the year.
Each season has its own special attractions provided by Mother Nature!
